John F. Kennedy
John F. Kennedy (JFK) served in the Pacific theater during World War II, and he was cited for exceptional bravery for rescuing a fellow soldier. He served the state of Massachusetts in Congress both as a Representative and a Senator, and in 1960 he became the 35th President of the United States.
