Mother Jones
The "Grandmother of All Agitators," Mother Jones was an American labor leader and a Wobbly (International Workers of the World). She lost her husband and four children to yellow fever and then dedicated her life to improving the wages and conditions of workers.
She was instrumental in organizing coal miners, including at Ludlow, which led to the Colorado National Guard slaughtering 20 civilians in the Ludlow Massacre: Louis Tikas. Age: 30; James Fyler.
